AUBURN — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host a breakfast from 6:45 to 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at  the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch, 14 Great Falls Plaza.

The breakfast will begin at 7:15 a.m. Those attending are encouraged to wear red to celebrate American Heart Month and Valentine’s Day.

Lisa DeSisto, CEO of Masthead Maine, will speak on the topic “A love triangle — the Sun Journal, the business community and our readers. How we all need each other and what’s next for newspapers.”

Spotlighters will include the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association, the American Red Cross, Cornerstone Wealth Planning, Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services and Sasseville Chiropractic Wellness Center.

The Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch will collect unexpired goods and nonperishables including toilet tissue, paper towels, wet wipes, diapers, grocery store gift cards until Friday, Feb. 15. Those attending are asked to bring an item.
