PORTLAND – Edward Francis Snow, 80, of Oxford passed away on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at Maine Medical Center. He was born in Norway on April 8, 1938, the son of Albert C. and Hildred M. Blake Snow.
Edward received his GED in 1995 from Oxford Hills Adult Education. He worked as a boiler operator at C. B. Cummings and in the finishing department at Robinson Manufacturing. He served in the National Guard and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Lake Thompson Fish and Game.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy of Henderson, Nev.; two daughters, Laura of Rockland and Melody of Panama City, Fla.; threegrandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his partner of 22 years, Sandra McAllister and her five children, nine grandchildren and five great- grandchildren; special nieces Karen and Theresa, special nephew Clifford, as well as several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Melvin Lightfoot.
