LEWISTON – Robert Rose, 75, a resident of North Turner, passed away, Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. He was born May 26, 1943, in Fayette, the son of Frank Rose and Barbara (Wills) Rose.

He attended school at Leavitt Institute in Turner. Bobby worked as a drill operator for Goodwin Well Drilling and truck driver Gerard Castonguay. He enjoyed smelting, fishing, bumper pool, boating, 4-wheeling, and hanging with his friends at “The Midtown” in Lewiston.

He is survived by his wife Jacqueline (Beaulieu) Rose; daughters, Rita Rose, Bertha Rose and companion Mike Knox, and Bobbi Birney and husband Brad all of North Turner; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Patsy Watt of Leeds, Linda Hanson of Leeds, Jeannette Hartford of Livermore, Marlene Frechette of Sabattus, and Dianne Carney of Turner and brother Donald Rose of Virginia. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Frank, Jr. “Curly” Rose, Eddie Rose and Burchard Rose, and former wife Mary Ellen Rose.
