LEWISTON – Beverly Winchenbach Poulin, 70, a resident of Poland and formerly of Livermore Falls, passed away Monday evening, Jan. 28, 2019, at St. Mary’s d’Youville.

She was born May 14, 1948, in Lewiston, the daughter of Homer W. Houston Jr. and Marjorie (Ireland) Houston. She graduated from Edward Little High School and also attended Kennebec Valley Technical College.

Beverly was the Activities Director at Victorian Villa Nursing Home in Canton. She was the commissioner of the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Red Hats Society as the “Queen Mother”. She enjoyed camping and genealogy. In 2007, she married Henry J.E. “Joey” Poulin in Jay.

She is survived by her son, Todd Aaron Winchenbach and his wife, Deena and their daughters, Ava and Leah of New York; her husband and companion of 30 years, Joey Poulin; her sister-in-law, Joan Houston of Poland, her sisters, Roxane Elie and her husband, Mark of Auburn, Brenda Gurschick and her husband, Norman of Minot and Cindy Brown and her husband, Randy of Oxford; several nieces and nephews; and her uncle, John Houston; and her very dear friend, who was like a sister, Kathleen Danforth of Wilton.

She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, H.W. Sam Houston III; and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 2, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. Interment in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery, 445 Park Street, Livermore Falls, Maine.
