MT. HOLLY, N.J. – TSgt. Jesse A. Casavant, 34, of Mt. Holly, N.J., passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2019. He was born in Atlanta, Ga., in February 1984 and was raised in a military family with Lewiston, Maine, being his home base.

In 2003, Jesse graduated near the top of his class from the Vineyard Christian School and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force for 15 years. If you knew him you loved him. He never met an instrument he couldn’t play or tech he couldn’t fix. Jesse had a knack for making even the most withdrawn people feel comfortable. Professionally he had a reputation for being able to untie any knot. He could bring a room alive with humor and connection.

Jesse is survived by his three children, Elliott, Lillian, and Gordon; and by their mother, Heather Mackenzie of Auburn, Maine. He is also survived by his parents, Bob and Heidi Casavant of Lewiston; his brother, Michael Casavant and family of Auburn; and his sister, Coté Wright and her family, of Lewiston Maine.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for him at 11 a.m., on Saturday, February 9, at the Pathway Vineyard Christian Church 12 Foss Road, Lewiston, Maine.

Arrangements under the care of Albert & Burpee Funeral Home.
