LEEDS — The 10th Annual Family Winter Fun Day at Curtis Homestead Conservation Area will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 9.

The event is sponsored by the Kennebec Land Trust at the childhood home of former Maine Gov. Kenneth M. Curtis, Rebecca Curtis Meredith and Joyce Curtis.

Hot chocolate, hot dogs and s’mores will be served around a bonfire in the field.

Attendees are invited to bring cross-country skis or snowshoes and spend the afternoon exploring the 360-acre conservation property. Bring biodegradable accessories.

A few pairs of children and adult Winthrop Plays Outside snowshoes from the Bailey Public Library in Winthrop will be available, first come, first served.
