MECHANIC FALLS — The passenger in a pickup truck that crashed Tuesday night was listed in critical condition Thursday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Police were not releasing the name of the man who was injured.
The truck driven by Eric Campbell, 33, of Norway struck at least two utility poles and a tree after leaving Pleasant Street near North Street at about 11:15 p.m.
Campbell was arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving to endanger and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, each charge punishable by up to five years in prison.
Campbell had fled the crash scene on foot but later turned himself in to police.
