YARMOUTH — Jeremy St. Germain scored 23 points and Alex Gorham added 12 for the ninth-seeded Dirigo, which used a 30-14 advantage in the second and third quarters to pull away from eighth-seeded North Yarmouth Academy for a 59-47 victory in a Class C South boys’ basketball prelim Thursday.

Mateo Lapointe contributed 10 points for the Cougars (8-11). Dirigo will play No. 1 Winthrop in the quarterfinals Monday at the Augusta Civic Center.

Te’Andre King scored 19 points the Panthers (9-10). Chris Hamblett added 11.

Girls’ basketball
Fryeburg Academy 57, Leavitt 21

FRYEBURG — Kaylee Emery scored 18 points as the eighth-seeded Raiders (5-14) rolled past the No. 9 Hornets (5-14) in a Class B South prelim Thursday.

Tina LeBlanc added 10 points for Fryeburg, which moves on to play No. 1 Greely (18-0) in the quarterfinals at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Portland Expo.

Boys’ hockey
Greely 8, Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison 0

FALMOUTH — Jake MacDonald scored four goals and set up another, and Andy Moore added two goals and two assists as Greely (13-2) cruised past Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison (1-13) at Family Ice Arena on Thursday.

Jackson Williams and Peter Lattanzi also scored. Ryan Moore had three assists.

Will Hays made 48 saves in the loss.

Unified basketball
Lisbon 49, Oxford Hills 34

LISBON — Kristy Coleman scored a game-high 14 points as Lisbon defeated Oxford Hills 49-34 in unified basketball action Thursday evening.

The Greyhounds (5-1) received strong defensive play from Lynn Feely and Dawson Martel. Feely and Martel also put eight and six points on the board, respectively.

Brandon Robare paced the Vikings (4-2) with a team-leading 10 points, while Kodie Baker-Henderson had eight points in the losing effort.
