Adelaide Ott

AUBURN – Adelaide Ott went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, surrounded by family. She was born July 15, 1920 in Portland, Maine.

She loved to travel and was always up for an adventure. Whether flying off to Scotland at 84, Parasailing at 86, or taking a flight on a WW2 airplane at 96, she was always up for more.

As a young woman she joined the Air Force to serve her country. She spent the last four years at Bolster Heights in Auburn, where she received great care and affection.

She was a loving mother of two children and was deeply loved by four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a new great-great- grandson. Her family will greatly miss her and her infectious giggle.

Special thanks to Androscoggin Hospice House for their kindness and care during her last days.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway in South Portland.

Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St, Saco, are entrusted with the arrangements.
