John Alan Wasson

SABATTUS – John Alan Wasson, 53, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at his home in Sabattus. He was born the middle son of Mary (Page) Wasson and Ronald Clyde Wasson on Jan. 31, 1966, in Fort Fairfield.

John graduated from Fort Fairfield High School, spent four years serving his country in the Marines then worked at Bath Iron Works.

John is survived by his mother, Mary Wesson of Fort Fairfield; two brothers Wayne Wasson of Sabattus and Jerry Wasson and his wife Stephanie of Virginia Beach, Va. He is also survived by three nephews and one niece; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

John was predeceased by his father; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

A memorial service honoring John’s life will be celebrated on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at 3 p.m. at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home. A memorial gathering will be held also on Monday from 2 p.m. till the time of the service at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston 784-4023.
