BIDDEFORD — Junior forward Ryan Pomerleau scored a pair of goals as Lewiston notched a 5-1 victory over Biddeford in boys’ ice hockey Saturday evening.
The Blue Devils (15-2) posted two unanswered goals in each of the second and third periods. Michael Belleau and Sam Laroche provided one goal each for Lewiston. Jack Madden recorded a goal and an assist.
Sophomore forward Nick McSorley put the Tigers (12-6) on the board first with a tally at 2:46 into the game.
St. Dom’s 10, Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse 0
AUBURN — Will Fletcher scored four goals as St. Dom’s cruised to a 10-0 shutout over Mt. Abram/Lisbon/Morse in boys’ ice hockey action Saturday evening.
The Saints (12-4-1) found the back of the net eight times in the first period. Sophomore Dominic Chasse contributed a hat trick in the game for St. Dom’s.
Sean Moore made 45 saves for the Eagles (8-9-1), while Gaston Fuksa stopped all 14 shots he faced to earn the shutout win in net for St. Dom’s.
