Having read Stacey Abrams response to President Trump’s State of the Union address, I feel a majority of Americans can relate to her speech. That is, the majority are compassionate, caring people opposed to President Trump, who apparently does not care who he hurts, either by his actions or remarks. Why else would he let two right-wing carnival barkers — Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter — goad him into demanding more than $5 billion for a border wall that his administration had already agreed to every penny it had initially asked for — the $1.6 billion for border security.

So, then he shuts down the government, causing harm to so many good and honest government employees and other fine folks.

His being influenced by two persons who apparently don’t give a hoot about who they hurt either is evidence enough that Trump does not have the ability or mentality to function in the office he holds.

It is time for Congress to show him the door.
