Roy C. Young
RUMFORD – Roy C. Young passed away Tuesday Feb. 26, 2019 at Rumford Community Home. He was born in Milton Plantation to Claude D. and Alice Young on Sept. 30, 1942. Roy grew up in Buckfield.
He worked at Burnham & Morrill for several years. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, baseball, four wheeling and especially loved snowmobiling. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He is survived by his siblings, Idella Jack, Alice Williams and James Young.
A time of visitation will be held on March 8, from 4-6 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 45 Main Street, South Paris. A graveside service will be held later in the spring. Online condolences may be shared with his family at www.chandlerfunerals.com
