Workers from Neuco Inc. weld sewer pipes Thursday as part of a $5.2 million sewer conversion project to send sewage from North Jay to Livermore Falls for treatment. As of Thursday morning, 3,100 feet of pipe had been welded and 1,100 feet had been installed underground, said Mark Holt, sewer superintendent Jay. In all, 19,000 feet of pipe is needed. Donna M.
