Our next weather maker will bring snow to the area Saturday into early Sunday morning. Expect snow to develop around mid day for many communities Saturday. Southern and coastal Maine may begin with a period of rain but even there, you’ll change to snow.

Snow will be with us Saturday night through Sunday morning. The back edge of the snow fall will move through Sunday morning. Expect a return to some sun Sunday, but winds will be active out of the north. Highs will be in the 30s but wind chills will be colder.

Another weak disturbance may touch off a late day snow shower Monday. After that, all eyes will be on another storm Tuesday night through Wednesday. A more significant snow is possible for our area. Stay tuned.

If you’re lucky enough to have a ticket to the Patriots game Saturday night, I’d bring the rain gear. Expect some light rain during the game with temps around 40 degrees. I’d plan on slippery travel driving back to Maine late Saturday night/Sunday morning.
