SABATTUS – A local man charged with breaking into businesses in Richmond and Bowdoin last year was arrested at his home Tuesday evening after police found items from multiple burglaries, according to Police Chief Sheila Wetherbee.

Jeremy St. Hilaire, 35, was taken into custody at 48 F Sanborn Road after search warrants from the Sabattus Police Department and the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office were served, the chief said.

Wetherbee said there were “multiple stolen items from multiple burglaries” in the home.

“We were able to clear four of our burglaries through this,” she said. “There was a lot of stolen items here that still need to be cataloged and looked through.”

The case is still under investigation, she said.

St. Hilaire was summoned in November 2019 by the Richmond.
