Rena Wilbur, 87, walks from Wilbur’s Antiques to her home in Greene on Friday afternoon admiring flowers along the way. “You have to enjoy them when they are here, soon enough it will be beautiful snow!” she said. The second oldest of 10 children, Wilbur was born in Greene, moved to a farmhouse there at age of 22 as a housekeeper and cook, and eventually bought it. She is writing her life story.
