Christian Steinbarth of Chicago, Illinois, bikes down Peacock Hill Road in New Gloucester on Friday morning. He is taking the summer off from his job as a foreign policy adviser to bike across the country. He started in Seattle, Washington, a few weeks ago on his power assisted bicycle with a tent and a few supplies and has been camping out along the way.
