Joe Maher paints the trim of his Turner garage Tuesday to match the colors of the University of Notre Dame. Maher grew up watching The Fighting Irish football games with his father and grandfather. “I grew up a fan,” said Maher, who had one daughter and four sons graduate from Notre Dame in Indiana.
