Peter Kelleher, left, hands a loaded backpack Wednesday morning to Jonathan Giasson at the temporary homeless shelter at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston and operated by Community Concepts. Also known as The Soupman, Kelleher created his nonprofit to serve the homeless population after his son died homeless and battling addiction. The bus made several stops in the area to distribute backpacks, boots and winter coats. The backpacks contain toiletries, warm hats, socks, mittens and masks. Andree Kehn/Sun Journal Buy this Photo
