Ron Davis of Frank’s Demolition removes the awning Friday afternoon that adorned most of the former Promenade Mall on Lisbon Street in Lewiston that is being converted for New England Public Warehouse. Frank Breton, owner of company that gutted every business except Staples, Paychex and Family Dollar, said he remembers many of the former businesses, include Bonanza and York Steak House. New England Public Warehouse site manager Jason Noyes was watching over the $2.7 million project approved in September. The property was most recently known as Gendron Place and is owned by MRE.
