Lillian Cote Cloutier

LEWISTON – Lillian Cote Cloutier, 95, formerly of 8 Orchard Circle, Lewiston, died peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, with her family by her side and following a short illness, at the Sarah Frye Home in Auburn.

Lillian was born in Dexter on April 29, 1925, the daughter of

Donat and Rose Cote. She married the love of her life, Walter Cloutier, on May 10, 1947. Lillian enjoyed 95 years of life, with family being her first priority.

She loved cooking, playing cards with family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind heart, lovable smile and laugh. A devoted wife and mother, she also worked at Connie’s Catering for several years.

Lillian is survived by her six children, Richard and wife, Patricia,

Ronald and wife, Denise, of Lewiston, Daniel and wife, Linda, of Fleming Island, Fla., daughter, Diane Ouellette and husband, Steven, Robert and wife, Patricia, and Ann-Marie Dumais and husband, Daniel, all of Lewiston. She had 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband of 60 years; sisters, Rita Obie and Lorraine Rubin; and a great-grandson, James.

The family would like to thank staff at Sarah Frye for their generous

support and loving care.

Services will be private. Interment will be in the spring, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
