AUBURN — UScellular donated $25,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine in 2020, part of a $1 million donation to Boys & Girls Clubs across the country to support youth.
The company also announced having made $34.5 million in investments to its Maine network last year, including $22.8 million in 5G upgrades that bring customers faster data speeds, a more responsive mobile experience and the ability to connect more devices to the network at the same time.
That initial deployment covered parts of Auburn South, Farmington, Fryeburg, Greene, Lewiston East, Lisbon Falls, Litchfield, Monmouth, Norway, Peru, Rumford, Streaked Mountain, Turner, West Paris and Wilton.
