AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library reopened for browsing on a limited basis Feb. 16. To make an appointment for browsing, call the lending desk at 207-333-6640, ext. 2, or the children’s department at ext. 3.

Staff has limited the number of customers in the building, so advance reservations are recommended. In addition, families with children are limited to one family/household at a time. Browsing is limited to 30 minutes a day. Those who also have computer appointments will be limited to a total of one hour in the library.

The library is open for browsing from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Public computers are not available Saturdays, and there are only limited reference services.

Curbside pick-up continues, and staff will take requests through email, phone or through the online catalog.
