Caroline Ann Currier

BIDDEFORD – Caroline Ann Currier, 80, of Biddeford, peacefully passed away on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, following a brief illness. She was born Caroline Libby on March 21, 1940, to George and Edna Libby. She married her loving husband Floyd in 1959 and had two children.

She worked at Wilner’s for many years, eventually moving on to obtain her CNA certification and starting a career caring for the residents at the Home for Creative Living. Nana, as she was most often referred to, had a love for country music and when she was able, a spin around the dance floor. Her favorite times were spent watching her grandchildren participate in various sports from Special Olympics to cheerleading competitions.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers and sisters; son Wayne; husband Floyd in 2004; and partner Art Rogers, in 2015. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Duplisea of Biddeford; grandchildren Jessica Scranton and husband Rory of Topsham, Jeffrey Duplisea of Biddeford; great-granddaughter Samara Scranton; sisters-in-law Altene Edwards and Marie Millett; many nieces and nephews; and the Rogers family, including Elaine; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
