Sally Kaye Brock Fawcett

SARASOTA, Fla. – Sally Fawcett passed away suddenly but peacefully at Sarasota Memorial Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 with her immediate family by her side. She was born July 26, 1943 in Rumford, the eldest of three children of Norman and Rae Brock, who are predeceased.

Sally graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn in 1961 and Boston University in 1965.

Sally was married for 55 years to Reginald Fawcett. She was a teacher prior to raising her children in Pittsford, N.Y. She was deeply involved in civic activities including town advisory committees, school boards, preservation of historic farms, supporting Hospice Homes and an advocate of veterans honoring their service by attending funerals for those who had no family support.

Sally was passionate about her family, children, grandchildren and animals. She was an avid reader and golfer. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by many.

She is survived by her husband Reg; son Ted (Elaine), daughter Rhea (Tom); grandaughters, Scarlett, Madeline and Stella; sister Susan Gordon (Ken), brother Bill Brock; as well as three nieces and many cousins.
