Geraldine “Geri” Roberts

HEBRON – Geraldine “Geri” Roberts, born in Lille to Saul and Marie Parent, went to be with her Lord on Feb. 19, 2021.

She was educated in Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School. She worked for many years at Pioneer Plastics where she met the love of her life and best friend, Edward Roberts. Geri and Ed were married 36 wonderful years.

She loved to be at the ocean with the sun on her face and the wind in her hair. She loved all animals, especially her beloved cats Marble and Pudgy. On Weekends you would find her motorcycling with her husband and kids, four wheeling at camp, cookouts, or doing anything that brought the family together. She loved her entire family with a fierceness like no other, and will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of standing in her light. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and was a person of great faith.

Geri is survived by her husband Ed; son, Glenn Dehetre and wife Alison of Poland, daughter, Kim Sands and husband Greg of Minot, daughter, Karen Ouellette and husband Tim of Minot, son, Greg Dehetre and fiancé Sue Croteau of Auburn, stepson, Timothy Roberts Sr. and wife Lisa of Oxford, stepdaughter, Tammy Patol and husband Frank of Virginia; eight grandchildren, Joe Dehetre, Jessie Pelletier, Sara Sands, Hannah Parent, Timothy Roberts Jr., Kyleigh Roberts, Holly Perez and Julie Keene; two great-grandchildren, Kayden Dehetre and Aqualeo Jalbert.

Geri is predeceased by a brother, Rod Parent, two sisters, Solange Guay and Viola Dubois, a brother-in-law, Paul Guay and two sisters-in-law, June Parent and Mariette Parent.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all the staff at Market Square Health Care and Beacon Hospice for all the wonderful care and kindness shown to Geri and the family during her final journey.

Visitation will be held Friday Feb. 26 starting at 1 p.m. with an in-house service to follow at 4 p.m. at The Fortin Group, 217 Turner St., Auburn.
