Juliette M. Gallant

LEWISTON – Juliette M. Gallant, 82, a resident of Cassell Street passed away peacefully Tuesday Feb. 23, 2021 at the Woodlands of Lewiston with her loving family by her side.

She was born in St. Charles, New Brunswick, Canada on Oct. 7, 1938 the daughter of Meleme and Victorine (Daigle) Chevarie.

Juliette was a loving wife and mother, and was loved by many. She had a large family from Canada who were very festive and celebrated life to the fullest. She always hosted every summer weekend with visiting friends and family from out of town which were always joyous events for her. She also had a great passion for gardening and art.

She is survived by one son, Ronald Gallant and wife Laurie of Oldsmar, Fla., two daughters, Gisele Chabot and husband Philip of Safety Harbor, Fla., and Joyce LaRoche Connors and husband Dana of Gray; one sister, Aline Guimond of Woodmans Point, New Brunswick. Also surviving are six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Real; and her five brothers.

A Mass of Christian burial honoring Juliette’s life will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27 at Holy Cross Church. Burial will be held privately at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, Feb. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston.

All attendees must abide by Maine CDC Guidelines which include face coverings, and social distancing during this Pandemic.
