Although a resident of Auburn, I have been involved in past campaigns to promote the Twin Cities. Charlene Belanger’s letter of Feb. 26 brought back the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce, and the extended efforts of WCSH6 as well as others, in successfully promoting our community with the “Cities of the Androscoggin” campaign.

I feel the proposed new logo for Lewiston is vague and ineffective, even after reading its explanation, and suggest that further design work could better reflect today’s Lewiston.
