NEW GLOUCESTER – Wayland L. Chase Jr. “Buddy”, 81, of New Gloucester passed away peacefully on Feb. 10, 2021 at CMMC in Lewiston.

Buddy is survived by his wife Kathy of 30 years; his three sons, Glen Durgin of Gray, Keith Chase of Raymond, and Jason Chase of New Gloucester; sisters, Dolly Robinson of Austin, Texas, Ellen Thurlow of Poland, Sharon Plummer of Gray, and Bonnie White of Byron; special aunts, Mavis Peaco and Gwendolyn Jordan of New Gloucester; stepson, Tom Elkins of Garland, Texas, stepdaughter, Jamie Johnson of Gray; grandchildren, Gunner Durgin of South Portland and Emily Durgin of Gray; step-granddaughter, Ashley Gast of Waterford; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; several step-grandchildren; and one great-grandson; special friend, Fred Charon of New Gloucester, and Don McKeen of Gray.

Buddy was predeceased by his father, Wayland Chase Sr. and his mother, Melba J. Chase; brothers, Russell, Bucky, Rusty, Kenny and Bobby; sisters, Pinky, Aleta and Amy.

Buddy will be sadly missed by all.
