Lucille Loretta LaFrance

LEWISTON – Lucille Loretta LaFrance, 91, of Lewiston passed away on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at The Hospice House in Auburn.

She was born on Jan. 13, 1930, in Hamlin Plantation, Maine, to Alia and Benoit Bell.

She attended school, in Sabattus. She enjoyed puzzles, family time, and traveling. Lou was a caring and gentle soul and could be seen by her neighbors walking around her apartment building.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Rosaire, two grandsons; Ricky and Brian, four brothers; Fern, Gilbert, Benoit, and Reno, three sisters; Annette, Thelma, and Hilda

Lucille is survived by sons; Robert LaFrance, and E. Rodney Wilson of Lewiston, daughter; Glenda Wilson of Topsham, four brothers; Herb (New Hampshire), Donald (Texas), Norm of Sabattus and Kenneth Bell of Mechanic Falls, a sister; Terry Bryant of Lewiston, three grandchildren; Stephanie, Tricia and Christine, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Over the years she worked at Marcos, Stekino’s, Rolandeaus and Happy Jacks.

A visitation is being held at The Fortin Group Lewiston on Thursday, March 4, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a service and interment at St. Peter Cemetery.

Services have been entrusted to The Fortin Group Funeral Home, 70 Horton St., Lewiston, 207-784-4584.
