LEWISTON — The following students have been named to the 2020 fall semester dean’s list at Bates College.

Austin Dumont of Auburn, son of Rene L. Dumont and Julia Dumont, is a 2017 graduate of Edward Little High School. He is majoring in politics and minoring in educations.

Bridget Tweedie of Brownfield, daughter of Peter A. Tweedie and Lauren R. Tweedie, is a 2017 graduate of Fryeburg Academy. She is majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry.

Ed Zuis of Monmouth, son of Edmund Zuis and Catherine V. Squires, is a 2020 graduate of Monmouth Academy.

Jenny Martin of Lewiston, daughter of Kathy L. Martin and Derwood Martin, is a 2017 graduate of Lewiston High School. She is majoring in history.

John Phillips of New Gloucester, son of Mark O. Phillips and Louise C. Phillips, is a 2017 graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School in Gray. He is majoring in history and minoring in anthropology.

Luke Allen of South Paris, son of Roger L. Coffin and Holly J. Allen, is a 2018 graduate of Oxford Hills High School in South Paris. He is majoring in theater and history and minoring in education.

Noah Dumont of Auburn, son of Rene L. Dumont and Julia Dumont, is a 2017 graduate of Edward Little High School. He is majoring in sociology.

Paige Cote of New Gloucester, daughter of Daniel P. Cote and Claire L. Cote, is a 2019 graduate of Saint Dominic Academy in Auburn. She is majoring in biological chemistry.

Thaddeus Gunther of Farmington, son of Eric V. Gunther and Judith A. Gunther, is a 2017 graduate of Mt. Blue High School. He is majoring in biology.

This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.88 or higher.
