JAY – Georgia Wright, 90, of Jay passed away peacefully, March 19, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family.Georgia was born in Eaton, Colo., Sept. 28, 1930, the daughter of Jose and Sadie (Barela) Hernandez. She served in the United States Air Force in 1951 and 1952 and spent many years afterward working as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed gardening, going for rides and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Donald; her daughter, Ginny; her grandson, Jamie and his wife Amy. She has five great-granddaughters; one great-great-granddaughter; and a stepdaughter, Bernice Wright.She was predeceased by her siblings. The family would like to thank Dr. Michele Knapp and Beacon Hospice for the great care given to Georgia and her family. A very special thank you to Sport and Sarah Knapp and Everett and Jen Wright and their families for all their love and support.
