Jacqueline (Poulin) Letourneau Camire

LEWISTON – Jacqueline (Poulin) Letourneau Camire was welcomed into the presence of our Lord, her Savior, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 with her loving family by her side.

Jacqueline was born in Lewiston on Oct. 26, 1942 to the late Marcel and Julienne (Nee Lessard) Poulin. She lived, worked, and raised her three sons in the Lewiston/Auburn area, then moved to Greene in 1985 when she married Richard “Toots” Camire.

She will be remembered most for her love of family. She was happiest when she was with them, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were her heart. Besides a loving family she was surrounded by many great friends especially Rochellle Hart and Linda Landry. They shared many laughs playing cards, swimming and travelling.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; three sons, Nicholas/Deborah, Steven, and Ronald/Letourneau; two stepsons, Richard/Nicole, and Randall. She also leaves, four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren, (the word “step” was not part of her vocabulary, she loved them all); two brothers, Ronald/Cecile, and John/Dolores Poulin; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and grandparents, she was predeceased by her 3-year-old son, Raymond Letourneau; her sister, Monette Regan, 9-year-old brother, Gary Poulin; stepson, Russ Camire; and grandson, Ryan Letourneau.

She was a loving soul, and will be missed.

The family would like to thank everyone that was there for her in her final hours, especially the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.
