MECHANIC FALLS – Michelle Lei Smith, 40, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021.

She was born April 5, 1980, in Portland the daughter of Michael W. and Cheryl D (Seavey) Smith.

She was a graduate of Falmouth High School, class of 1999.

Michelle had many loves and interests including a long-time membership of the 4-H Club, creating great meals for her friends and family, and adored her dog, Shieka. However, her greatest love and pride was her son, Iziah.

She is survived by her son, Iziah Kane Smith-Wilson of Poland; her companion, Russell Wilson of Poland; her mother and stepfather, Cheryl Seavey Wentworth and Bob Wentworth of Bonita Spring, Fla., and Rangeley; her father, Michael W. Smith of Falmouth; a sister, Melissa Lei Smith of Standish and her partner, George Johnson; grandparents, Deane and Barbara Seavey of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; a grandmother, Patricia “Patti” St. Pierre of Falmouth; many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she dearly loved.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
