BANGOR — The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation recently donated to several area nonprofits through two rounds of giving.

As part of its 2021 Community Matters More program, which received thousands of votes from the public, it donated $5,000 to Tree Street Youth, $3,000 to Museum L-A, and $1,000 to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, all in Lewiston, and $4,000 to the Mahoosuc Land Trust in Bethel.

Additionally, Healthy Homeworks in Lewiston and Larry Labonte Recovery Center in Rumford each received $3,000 through the foundation’s latest grant cycle.
