LEWISTON – Geraldine H. Moreau, 92, of Lewiston, died Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at the Montello Manor in Lewiston. Born in Lewiston on Feb. 12, 1929, she was the daughter of Henry and Gertrude Cyr Jalbert.

Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Lewiston High School, class of ‘47. She married the love of her life, Albert M. Moreau, on May 30, 1953. Albert passed away on Feb. 6, 1997.

Geraldine worked for several years at Robert Hall Clothes until their closing in 1977, then went to work as a secretary and loan officer for First Federal Savings and Loan until her retirement in 1991.

She is survived by a son, Normand and wife Christine of Lewiston; three grandchildren, Brian, Joshua and wife Whitney, and Jonathan and wife Danielle; and four great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Paul; and a great-grandson, Dominic.

A service will be held at the Harvest Hills Church, 89 Broadview Ave., Auburn, on April 17 at 11 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Condolences may be found at http://www.albert-burpee.com.
