HARTFORD – Shawn Everett Calkins, 56, of Hartford, Maine, died unexpectedly on Tuesday March 30, 2021. He was born Feb. 21, 1965, in Belfast, the son of Lois Nickerson Calkins and Alfred Richard Dunham.

He was well known for his carpentry skills. Many of which he learned working alongside his grandfather, Merle. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his Harley. He loved his family and friends dearly.

He was predeceased by his mother, Lois, father, Richard and stepfather, Allan Calkins.

He is survived by his daughter, Kaala Harvey and husband Jeffrey and granddaughters; his sister, Dianna Porter and husband Tracy and their children.

Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 45 Main Street, South Paris.
