RUMFORD – Bob passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 8, 2021. He was born on Nov. 20, 1943, to Alfred and Marieanna Nadeau in Rumford where he grew up with many friends. Bob married Catherine Jane McCafferty in February of 1962. Bob raised two children, Robert A. Nadeau Jr. and Elizabeth S. Nadeau, which he doted on. Bob enjoyed family, friends and many hobbies.

Bob is survived by his children, Robert A. Nadeau Jr. and his wife Diana and Elizabeth Nadeau and her husband Bradley. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Brandon, Nicole and Hunter; his great-grandchildren, Abel Mclain and Harper Taylor as well as his siblings and their spouses, Richard and Shirley, Raymond and Janice, Susan, Michael and Janet and many nieces and nephews. Bob also leaves behind a very special lady, the light of his life, Sally Rowe. He was predeceased by his parents and wife.

A graveside service will take place on Friday May 28, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery in Rumford. Arrangements are under the care of the Thibault Remembrance Center affiliate of The Fortin Group Funeral Homes, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford, 364-4366.
