Rangeley Health and Wellness has expanded their wellness service offerings. They have now added acupuncture, reiki, Pilates, and mindful meditation classes to their roster of services. The focus of these new offerings is to promote holistic wellness. The addition of these services was in part driven by the stress that the pandemic has had on the population. Stressors can affect a person’s physical, mental, and emotional health in negative ways, and while regular exercise is a great stress reliever, it may not be enough for everyone. The new services are meant to bring convenient, healthy ways of managing stress to the region.

Here are some of the services the organization will begin offering:

Acupuncture
Acupuncture services will now be offered by Cristi Demarco, L. Ac. Demarco has years of experience in the field and is a licensed acupuncturist, a nationally certified herbalist, and a craniosacral therapist. Acupuncture encourages self-care and healthy body awareness. A variety of conditions are treated, including but not limited to muscle pain, digestive distress, depression, anxiety and/or other mental health related issues, respiratory function, neurological migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and more. Appointment times are available Fridays between 9AM-2:30PM

The instructor Marisol Razik has been teaching Pilates since 2018 and when not in Maine, instructs out of her own studio overseas.
