Plentiful sunshine, soft spring skiing turns and lots of smiling faces – this was the scene all weekend at Saddleback’s first annual Spring Bash event, April 9-11th.

The weekend kicked off with a Friday night rail jam and bonfire at the base area. On Saturday, guests enjoyed beautiful spring skiing with temps in the 50s, the return of the Saddleback cardboard box race, a BBQ on the deck, a retro attire costume contest and the main event – a performance by Maine’s own The Mallett Brothers Band.

A silent auction offering up unique local goods and some Saddleback memorabilia helped raise over $5,000 for Ski Patrol. On Sunday, an Artisan Fair featured local vendors and more live music by the Tom Ball band. Spring Bash was the cherry on top a successful comeback season.

Saddleback will close lift operations for the season on Saturday, April 17th – but stay tuned! There are lots of exciting activities rolling out in summer Outdoor Programs and Saddleback will continue the tradition of on-mountain weddings this summer and fall. The Pub will re-open Memorial Day weekend, featuring new menu items and weekly live entertainment.

Construction of a Mid Mountain Lodge will begin this summer and Saddleback has plans to install a new T-Bar, magic carpet and rope tow. The mountain will be buzzing all summer with new projects underway to set the stage for the ‘21/’22 season. This is just the beginning.
