GRAY — Freeport scored 10 runs in the first three innings and beat host Gray-New Gloucester 12-1 in six innings in a WMC baseball game Thursday.

Anthony Panciocco went 3 for 4 with two RBI and Caden Benedict had two hits and scored four runs for the Falcons, who beat the Patriots for the second straight day to improve to 2-0.

Ben Wildes drove in Gray-New Gloucester’s only run with a double. Zach Winchester, Ian Libby and Austin Albert all pitched for the Patriots, with Winchester getting the start and the loss. The trio combined to give up six hits. The Patriots offense produced five hits.
