WOODSTOCK — Woodstock Conservation Commission is sponsoring a Clean-Up Day for the Town of Woodstock on Saturday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to noon. Although we did the clean up last year on an individual basis, we hope to gather again safely to clean up the roadsides.

Conservation Commissions around the country on the first Saturday in May gather to show some pride in our towns. Greenwood will meet at the Town Office. Bethel Conservation Commission wants people to gather at Davis Park. All ages are welcome to come and clean up the roadways and public spaces.

Meet at the Bryant Pond ball field on Lakeshore Drive, Bryant Pond. Due to the pandemic, masks are required. Bring any reflective clothing and garbage bags will be provided. We’ll take all the returnable bottles to the Woodstock PTA at the transfer station.

Areas targeted are the ball field, the roadways, the greenspace by the Post Office.
