Royal Family Productions will present “Holy Hans!” at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at Cumston Hall, 796 Main St., in Monmouth.

The magical, funny, and irreverent (slightly political) production is based on stories by Hans Christian Andersen, adapted by Chris Henry, additional writing by Mark Falconer and Rebecca Whitney Klein, choreography by Lorna Ventura. Starring Rebecca Whitney Klein and Danny Gay with Erica Misilo, directed by Henry who is a native of Winthrop and is thrilled that Royal Family is able to continue to produce top-quality theatre in her home state.

The theater company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, will remount Henry’s new adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” “The Little Match Girl,” and “The Princess and the Pea” as part of an all-ages theater piece titled “Holy Hans.” After a sold-out performance in April, this two-person show returns.

This presentation is specially adapted for a COVID-safe, socially-distant, limited-seating presentation.

Tickets cost $20, with $100 preferred seating and $250 VIP tickets. Tickets need to be purchased in advance by visiting RoyalFamilyProductions.org.
