Priscilla B. Charpentier

LEWISTON – Priscilla B. Charpentier, 80, of Wales passed away on Saturday May 1, 2021 at CMMC in Lewiston due to complications of a short illness. She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 17, 1940, a daughter of the late Louis and Corona (Duchette) Lamontagne. She grew up in the area and attended local schools.

Priscilla met the love of her life and married Ronald Charpentier and they continued a family together. Throughout their life together, she took great pride in caring for her family and tending to their needs as a devoted homemaker. She also worked for many years as a housekeeper at Maison Marcotte in Lewiston. Priscilla was a past president of The Ladies Auxiliary at F.O.E. #618. She will always be remembered for her love of life and her family. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children; Ronald Charpentier, Jr. and his wife Katy of Wales, Sandy Longley and her husband Jonathan of South Paris, Alphonse Blouin, III and his wife Brenda of Lewiston. She also leaves behind her siblings; Maurice Lamontagne (Denise), Constance Beaucage, Robert Lamontagne (Pierrette); her sister-in-law, Tina Charpentier, her mother-in-law, Dorothy Charpentier as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ronald in 2002, and her longtime companion, Ronald Anair in 2019.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral home can only have 50 people inside at one given time. Visitation will be held on Friday May 7, 2021 at Fortin\Lewiston from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. followed by a Liturgy of the Word at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home. Committal prayers will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston.
