Ken Ruff installs posts for a fence on Wednesday at the small Bryant Cemetery in Woodstock. Ruff, a retired firefighter, responded to a request for volunteers to be caretakers at the town’s many cemeteries. Bryant Cemetery was used in the late 1700s through the early 1900s. Ruff has support from other cemetery volunteers. “I’m learning as I go,” Ruff said. Andree Kehn/Sun Journal Buy this Photo
