UPDATE: A missing Skowhegan woman was found safe, according to a Maine State Police statement issued Tuesday morning.

The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office issued a Silver Alert on Monday night for Nancy Dickson, 69. She was missing since about noon.

Dickson had been following her husband and became separated from him, police said. She did not have a phone or her medications, and has dementia.
