NORWAY — The Western Maine Art Group continues its Spring season with First Friday Reception June 4 from 5:00 to 7:00. The reception will be held at the Main Street Gallery, 426 Main Street, in Norway. The gallery exhibits the work of fine artists and artisans living and working in Western Maine.
Roadside Lupines
The featured artist for the month of June at the Western Maine Art Group’s Main Street Gallery will be Melanie Tornberg of Norway and Bethel. This exhibit will feature floral works that celebrate the colors and beauty of our springtime gardens.
Ms. Tornberg began her artistic training as a child student with the Western Maine Art Group and continued her education in the BFA program at the University of New Hampshire with renowned painters John Laurent and John Hatch. For the past five years, she has served as the President of the Western Maine art group.
Red Zinnias
Beginning in June, the Main Street Gallery is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 to 5, and Saturdays from 10 to 2.
