To the Editor:

I’m writing to Bethel residents why I am running to serve on our Select Board. I am very appreciative for all of the support I have been given this month as I consider how best to make a difference and serve the public. Anybody who knows me understands how much this area means to me, and how fortunate I have been to have the friends and family that I do here.

I live here, I work here, and with your help on election day, I will serve the people here as a member of the Select Board and continue to make a difference.

I know sometimes that the Board has to weigh in to some of the tough local issues, and I believe there are two sides to every story – and every challenge – and I always dedicate myself to meet halfway and compromise. I think we need more of that from elected officials at every level, and I would very much appreciate your vote on June 8. You can vote in person at the Bethel American Legion on June 8 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

I’m running because I love this town, it’s where I grew up it’s where my children grew up, and it’s where my daughter will forever be.

I want nothing more than to build my town up to bring unity. For all who live here I want them to know I’m here to listen and to fight for all of them! I love everyone no matter how different or alike we are I want to be the one that helps all of us meet in the middle for the best interest in the town.

Lastly, I will always remember how Bethel and the surrounding area helped and fought for my daughter and showed us that no matter how different we all are, we can still come together to support each other because as Hailey said “We Are All Family” and always will be.

Thank you for taking the time to learn little about me and why I am running for the Board of Selectmen in June.
