AUBURN — Kiara McLeod pitched a four-hitter and took a shutout into the sixth for Oxford Hills, which kept host Edward Little quiet in a 6-1 KVAC softball matchup Saturday.
Hannah Smith broke up the shutout with an RBI single, and Maddy Scott had two hits for the Red Eddies (6-8) while also striking out four in the circle.
The Vikings (12-2) added three runs in the top of the seventh to pull away. Chloe Truman had two hits and scored two runs, and Haileigh Sawyer had a double, and RBI and a run scored. McLeod struck out three batters.
